Speaking of environmentally friendly packaging, 95% of this pure mint toothpaste tube consists of PEFC-certified spruce wood. Most of the wood Hydrophil use for the tube is recycled sawdust from German joineries. For this reason, their tube has a 40% better CO2 balance in comparison to conventional polyethylene toothpaste tubes.
You can dispose of your tube – just like any other toothpaste tube – in the household waste. At present there is, unfortunately, no way of recycling toothpaste tubes. But they are working on a solution!
