The perfect menstrual cup cleaner – Ruby Clean – a great accessory for disinfecting your menstrual cup. It is made of the same premium-quality medical grade silicone used for our Ruby Cups. Once folded it fits in any small bag or pocket and you can easily bring it with you anywhere.

How To Use
Put your Ruby Cup inside the Ruby Clean, fill with water until it’s about ¾ full and place it in the microwave. Make sure you do not close the lid completely as that will increase the pressure from the boiling water and can make it overflow.
Set the microwave time to approximately 3 minutes or enough time to bring the water to a boil and to leave it boiling for a few minutes. After boiling be careful as it can be hot. Grab it by the handles when you remove it from the microwave. Let the water cool down a bit before you empty it and take out your Ruby Cup.
You can also use your Ruby Clean to clean your menstrual cup in an oven. Just preheat the oven and ensure water comes to a boil.
Please make sure your Ruby Clean is completely dry before storage.
Brand Story
Ruby Cup was created out of a desire for change. The menstrual cup was a gamechanger for Julie, one of the 3 co-founders, back when she was in uni. And she wanted to do more than just spread the word.
Julie and her two co-founders designed their own easy-to-use period cup, only with a business model that had a real difference. They decided that at the heart of Ruby Cup’s business would be a Buy One Give One model…and so every Ruby Cup purchased since 2011 has included another one that is donated to a young woman who struggles to get access to safe period products.
With a business model like this, it was a no brainer which brand of reusable menstrual cup we were going to bring into our store. And here you have it – the Buy One Give One period cup. Our new favourite, ethical product!
