Sol De Ibiza was brought to life by Alessandro in 2015. Living in Ibiza and being a keen open water swimmer, he quickly started to learn the kind of damage all of the chemicals from normal sunscreens was having on water quality.

After a summer of putting up with this awful water quality, with layers of oils and grease on the surface, he took the first steps towards creating an ocean-friendly, skin-friendly and planet-friendly sunscreen that not only works but has minimal ramifications for our precious planet as well.

Now Sol De Ibiza have a range of natural and plastic-free sunscreens that work great and carry that gentle consideration for the planet that all eco-friendly brands are trying their best to achieve.
