The idea behind the brand came from a very British problem – fortnightly recycling bin collections. From an awareness of waste and single use plastic mounting up, Rowen decided to switch to more zero waste and sustainable products.

Since then, Rowen Stillwater has begun producing their own range of zero waste and plastic free products to help others live more sustainably, benefiting the environment one swap at a time.

Notably, their most popular products, the Unsponges, are a great addition to your kitchen. We hope we can eliminate the traditional kitchen sponge from our kitchens once and for all, as they sit in landfill for hundreds of years after use without breaking down.
