There are a number of different reasons why you'll want to consider switching to a natural, plastic free deodorant. The first, and possibly the most obvious, is the elimination of plastic from their packaging.
All of the natural zero waste deodorants we sell are 100% plastic free. If everyone was to move towards a plastic free deodorant, we could eliminate millions of unnecessary pieces of plastic every year from circulation.
At the same time, we don't want lots of harsh chemicals in our deodorant. We want a product that's kind to both our underarms as well as the environment. With a natural deodorant, we have gentle ingredients that protect us from sweat and odour so we can go about our day with confidence.
I'll take my deodorant without the aluminium as well, please. Aluminium salts are used to prevent sweating by blocking your pores under your arms. This prevents the natural process of sweating - a way for our body to remove excess salt and toxins. As a consequence, we build up bad bacteria under our arms which are in fact the main cause of body odour.
By switching to a natural deodorant, you are actually using ingredients that are good for you and your underarms. So what if there is a little bit of moisture down there - this is a natural bodily process and we could all do with going back to natures way!
